Shot List

Audience Feedback Evaluation

After looking at my results to the survery I sent out, I found that my target audience is female between 16-25 so I will be looking at these particular people to show my initial screening and Digipa too. I will hopefully get a variety of feedback form each person which will allow me to make better improvements when continuing with the conrtsuction.

Raw Footage and Photographs of Locations

I will be adding this when I start filming.

Planning for Digipak

For my Digipak, I wanted to keep it fairly similar to the magazine advert hence the reason why the front cover is the same picture of the hear. I also incorporated the artists, for example I'm hoping to have to a picture of the guitarist on on of the sides, as well as half a photograph of the main singer on the track listing on it. All the digipak will have a black background and I really wanted to havea smoke picture on the pack as I thought it reflected my other ideas.

Magazine Advert Planning

For my magazine advert planning, I decided to keep things fairly simple and mainly in balck and white. I wanted to show a physical representation of the song title. I came up with the idea to have a toy heart or a cushion heart and have it really dirtied up, like it had been chucked in the dirt and completley ruined and then I wanted to show it being set on fire, so it was being ruined even more.

The lettering is quite blocky and quite harsh which I thought went really well with the picture used.

Editing Plan

My plan for ediding is fairly simple;

I don't plan on using any jump cuts and keeping it fairly simple, just mainly cutting from scene to scene rather than doing anything radically different and extra-ordinary.

However, I was thinking about adding a sort of flar or washed out effect when it came to some of the storyline clips, just so that there was a clear difference between the storyline and the performance shots.

Mood Board

I have done two different mood boards for Costume and Makeup and Setting and Props.

The props are loosely based on ideas that I have but may not end up in the final video. However, the settings for me, seem to be very definite and I have a clear idea of where each shot is going to be placed.

The costumes and makeup is also based on my ideas and how it fits with the song. I looked quite closely at Gin Wigmore's makeup and how she normally dresses and tried to in-corporate that into my music video. For example, I noticed that she wears quite a lot of black and normally wears a smokey eye. I've asked both of my performers, to dress all in black so that it looks as close to Gin Wigmore's original style.
